American AECOM begins reconnaissance: groundwork is being prepared in Armenia for a large-scale infrastructure project

The TRIPP project involves the assessment and development of railway and related infrastructure

A team from the American engineering and consulting company AECOM has arrived in Armenia and is beginning territory studies as part of the TRIPP project. This was reported by the U.S. Embassy, which emphasized that this is the initial stage of work aimed at analyzing the potential of future infrastructure solutions.

AECOM specialists will conduct a feasibility assessment and also prepare proposals for the formation and development of railway infrastructure and related facilities. The study will cover key parameters, from geography and logistics to possible scenarios for modernizing transport corridors.

The TRIPP project is viewed as a long-term initiative capable of influencing the development of Armenia's transport system and its integration into regional and international logistics chains. AECOM's findings will serve as the basis for further decisions on the implementation of infrastructure projects.
