The first comprehensive certification of bridges and bridge facilities has been completed in Yerevan, the city hall reported.
According to the mayor's advisor Kamo Areyan, each object received a passport with a description, analysis of the current state, and plans for the future. 30–40 indicators are used for the assessment, and up to 70 for the most complex bridges, including the "Victory" Bridge, the bridge over the Hrazdan River, and the Davtashen Bridge. All information will be available online and used by city services for planning and maintenance.
Acting Head of the Construction Department Andranik Tevosyan added that about 250 bridge structures have been inventoried in Yerevan, and in 2025 a study of their technical and seismic condition will be carried out. The repair of the Kiyevyan Bridge is scheduled for the summer holidays with a complete revision of the technical specifications of the project.
