The First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, participated in the international summit "AI Impact Summit 2026" in New Delhi, where he held negotiations with leading players in the artificial intelligence industry. Among them were Sam Altman from OpenAI, Dario Amodei from Anthropic, and Arthur Mensch from Mistral AI. The topics of discussion included AI development, digital transformation, and opportunities for expanding investments.
In addition to companies, Mantashyan met with high-ranking representatives of foreign governments, including the Minister of Digital Transformation of Germany, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and the Minister of Electronics of India. The main focus was on digital infrastructure and strengthening international cooperation in the field of AI.
Following the visit, the parties discussed the prospects for joint projects, innovative technologies, and creating conditions for attracting investments in the Armenian high-tech industry. Interaction with global AI leaders opens up new opportunities for Armenia in the global market of technology and the digital economy.
