Armenia and Greece have signed a memorandum of understanding that paves the way for joint projects in the field of digitalization, high technology and scientific research. The document was signed by the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan and the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance of Greece Christos Dermentzopoulos.

The agreement envisages joint research initiatives, the development of public-private partnerships and the implementation of projects in the field of 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, digital governance, biotechnology and supercomputer solutions. The goal is to strengthen technological ecosystems and expand the innovative potential of both countries.

The signing of the memorandum took place during the state visit of the President of Armenia to Greece. In addition, high-level meetings are planned with representatives of the Greek government, at which issues of cybersecurity, innovation and scientific and technical cooperation will be discussed, creating the basis for a long-term strategic partnership.
