Armenia's export volume amounted to about $8.4 billion by the end of 2025

Russia remains the main destination.

By the end of 2025, Armenia's export volume amounted to about $8.4 billion, which is one-third lower than the 2024 figure ($13.1 billion).

Russia remains the undisputed leader among partners with nearly $3 billion in supplies, although a slight decline of 6.9% was recorded here as well. The sharp drop in the overall volume occurred due to the collapse of re-export schemes, which in 2022–2024 inflated statistics through precious metals and stones: supplies to the UAE plunged by 61%, to China by 30%, and this category of goods lost 64.5% in volume.

At the same time, beneath the surface of the decline lies a positive trend: excluding questionable re-export operations, exports grew by almost 9%. Food products increased by 29%, mineral goods by 19%, and individual destinations such as Germany (+77%), Iraq (+35%), and Belarus (+43%) are showing confident growth.

Armenia's economy is gradually shifting from transit flows to real production and market diversification.
