The Eurasian Development Bank confirmed its forecast for Armenia's economic growth at 5.3% in 2026. At the end of 2025, the country's GDP increased by 7.2%. The main contribution came from the services sector: financial activity grew by 14.7%, information and communication by 18.6%, and construction by 21.0%. On the demand side, the key drivers were household consumer spending (+10.7%) and investment (+15.6%).
The state budget for 2026 projects economic growth of 5.4%. The Central Bank of Armenia expects GDP growth for the year in the range of 4.1–6.3% depending on the scenario, and 4.9–5.3% in 2027.
Other international institutions also forecast stable momentum: the World Bank — 4.9%, the International Monetary Fund — 5.5%, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development — 4.5%, and Fitch Ratings — above 5% in 2026–2027.
