The international information campaign «Global Money Week» (Global Money Week 2026) will be held in Armenia from March 16 to 22. The country has been participating in this initiative since 2014, and the national coordinator is the Central Bank of Armenia with the support of the Department of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

The theme of the 2026 campaign is «Smart Money Talks». The main goal of the events is to increase the financial literacy of young people and form a responsible attitude to personal finances. The program includes meetings and discussions in youth centers in different regions of the country.

The organizers note that young people regularly face financial decisions — from first income and expense control to investments and protection against fraud. The campaign is designed to help young people openly discuss money matters, reduce financial anxiety and develop healthy financial habits. Representatives from more than 170 countries around the world participate in the global initiative, which is coordinated by the OECD.
