The Eurasian Development Bank expects that by the end of 2026, the growth of consumer prices in Armenia will be about 3.3% year-on-year. This data is provided in the bank's new macroeconomic review.
According to analysts, in February 2026, inflation in the country reached 4.3% year-on-year, compared to 3.8% a month earlier. The main factor of acceleration was the dynamics of prices for food products: their growth amounted to 6.4% after 5.9% in January.
At the same time, price growth was less noticeable in other segments. Inflation in the service sector increased to 3.2% from 2.9% a month earlier, and the cost of non-food products hardly changed — growth remained at 0.9% year-on-year.
