From April 1, 2026, new rules for compulsory motor third party liability insurance come into force in Armenia. The Bureau of Motor Insurers of the country announces an increase in the maximum limits of insurance payments, which will allow victims to receive more compensation.

Property damage to one victim will now be compensated up to 2.5 million drams instead of the previous 1.8 million. Damage to life and health has been increased to 3.5 million drams from 3.3 million. The total limits of payments for one accident are also increasing: up to 25 million drams for property and up to 35 million drams for damage to health and life.

The changes are aimed at strengthening the protection of road users and increasing the financial reliability of the insurance system. Details and the full text of the updated OSAGO rules are available on the website of the Bureau of Motor Insurers of Armenia.
