Armenia is preparing its own AI cloud

Eleveight AI is creating a technology platform for finance and high loads

The Eleveight AI project is launching in Armenia, which involves creating a public cloud for artificial intelligence tasks based on modern Nvidia graphics processors. The first phase of investment in the project amounted to about $70 million, which allows for the assembly and testing of equipment in Gagarin near Sevan.

According to CEO Arman Aleksanyan, the cloud will be used to develop and implement products in the banking sector and fintech. The creation of a high-tech infrastructure opens up new opportunities to accelerate digital transformation and implement advanced AI solutions in the country's economy.

The project will be developed in stages, and its launch promises to be a catalyst for the development of the local technology market and attract international attention to the Armenian AI ecosystem. The official opening is expected in the near future, and it will allow companies and startups to use cloud capacity for complex calculations and innovative solutions.
