Ameriabank has joined the financing of a large-scale project in the field of artificial intelligence, allocating $60 million for the construction of the Firebird AI data center. This step became the starting point for the implementation of one of the key technological projects of the country.
The future center is being created with the participation of Firebird, Nvidia, Dell Technologies and the Armenian government. It is expected to become the largest and most productive in the region, opening access to powerful infrastructure for scientific organizations, IT companies and businesses working with AI.
The project should accelerate the introduction of advanced technologies and strengthen Armenia's position on the global technology map. At the same time, Ameriabank retains the status of the country's largest corporate lender — its portfolio, including leasing and factoring, has already exceeded 1 trillion drams, which remains a record for the banking system.
