IDBank and Yerevan State University have agreed to support students from Artsakh. As part of the "Side by Side" initiative, the bank will finance the education of 103 students, allocating more than 35 million drams for this purpose, so that they can continue their education without the risk of expulsion.
The need for the program was identified after an assessment: a significant part of the students were in a difficult social situation and could interrupt their studies. The bank decided to fully cover the cost of education, emphasizing the importance of stability and support for young people in the current difficulties.
In addition to paying for education, IDBank plans to develop the financial literacy of students. Bank specialists will conduct classes at the university faculties, helping students to better navigate personal finances and economics.
