Over the year, food and non-alcoholic beverages increased in price by 7.8%, and by 1.8% over the month. Alcohol and tobacco rose in price by 8.6% over the year and by 0.5% over the month. Clothing and footwear increased in price by 1% year-on-year, but showed a decrease of 0.2% over the month, utilities decreased by 0.3% over the year, and by 0.7% over the month. Goods for the home, household appliances and apartment care services increased in price by 0.6% over the year and by 0.7% over the month.
Healthcare added 4.5% over the year and 0.5% over the month, transport - 2.1% and -0.4%, communications - 0.7% and 0.3%, recreation and culture - -0.7% and 0.6%, education - 8.3% over the year with stable prices over the month, restaurants and hotels - 4.3% and 0.3%, other goods and services - 2.4% and -0.1%. Non-food products in March 2026 rose in price by 0.8% over the year and by 0.1% over the month.
In the 2026 state budget, the growth of the Armenian economy is projected at 5.4%. According to the Central Bank, the country's GDP in 2026 may grow in the range of 4.7–7.1%, in 2027 - 5.3–5.7%, in 2028 - 4.9–5.2%.
