Smart parking is launching in Yerevan: an app will eliminate fines and unnecessary movements

Yes Parking will allow you to pay by card, automatically extend parking and find free spaces

The Yes Parking mobile application will start working in Yerevan this week, as announced by Deputy Mayor of the city Suren Grigoryan. The new service will complement the existing payment system via SMS, but will offer a more convenient format — with a bank card linked and automatic debits without having to top up your phone balance.

One of the key innovations is parking automation. Users will be able to set the required parking time in advance and not be distracted by the extension — the system will automatically debit the payment, and if necessary, it can be stopped. The application also solves the problem of late notifications: now information about fines will arrive on time, which will avoid unpleasant surprises.

In addition, the service will show free parking spaces in different areas of the city on the map, helping to save time and reduce traffic on the roads. The application is already available in the App Store for iOS devices, and the version for Google Play is currently undergoing moderation.
