At the third meeting of the Armenia-USA working group, held on April 1, the parties summarized the implementation of the agreements reached at the Washington summit on August 8, 2025. The negotiations were attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the USA Sonata Coulter. The meeting was another step towards deepening bilateral cooperation and strengthening strategic ties between the countries.
The participants paid special attention to economic cooperation and the development of energy projects. Opportunities for joint initiatives in critical and emerging technologies that could strengthen Armenia's position in the international arena and create new growth points for the economy were discussed.
The parties noted significant progress in the implementation of previous agreements and exchanged ideas on further expanding cooperation. The focus remains on steps to strengthen the strategic partnership, expand technological exchange, and create conditions for the long-term development of relations between Yerevan and Washington.
