Pashinyan announced a "guaranteed corridor": the railway with Azerbaijan will change Armenia's exports

Authorities are counting on a new economic cycle and the removal of transport restrictions

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the railway connection between Armenia and Azerbaijan could become a stable and reliable route for import and export.

According to him, the country is already entering a new stage of economic development related to the process of normalization of relations and the prospects for opening transport communications.

The head of government noted that cargo transportation by rail through the territory of Azerbaijan is already possible, and exports are still carried out through Georgia. Important steps are expected in the near future within the framework of the TRIPP project, which should ensure full transport communication and effectively remove Armenia from the state of blockade.

Pashinyan emphasized that the reached political agreements imply the continuous operation of the railway route without the risk of its closure. This, in his opinion, will create predictable conditions for business, simplify logistics and strengthen the country's integration into international trade corridors.
