From June, Armenians and tourists from Bulgaria will be able to fly between Burgas and Yerevan without transfers — the new direct air service has been officially confirmed.
The Armenian Embassy in Bulgaria announced that flights will start on June 4 and will be operated by Electra Airways every week on Thursdays. Direct flights should significantly facilitate travel and give a powerful impetus to the development of tourism, business ties and cultural exchange between the two countries.
It is expected that the new destination will become especially popular among tourists wishing to combine a holiday on the Bulgarian sea with a trip to Armenia, as well as among businessmen and representatives of the diaspora. This is the first regular direct flight between Burgas and Yerevan.
