Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever announced plans to deepen cooperation with Armenia in the fields of business, innovation, and technology. The occasion was the opening of the embassy in Yerevan, which, according to him, symbolizes not only historical ties but also a focus on future cooperation.
According to the head of the Belgian government, the new diplomatic mission will become a platform for developing projects in infrastructure, scientific exchange, and high-tech industries. He also emphasized Armenia's role as a partner for stability and a country adhering to democratic values in the region.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that the opening of the embassy will give additional impetus to bilateral relations. According to him, the interaction between the countries already extends beyond historical ties and is gradually transforming into a modern partnership aimed at developing institutions, economy, and technology.
