Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) announced significant cost savings within the framework of the 2026 investment program. According to interim manager Romanos Petrosyan, more than 4.5 billion drams were saved during procurement thanks to competitive procedures and open tenders.
The total budget of the investment program, approved by the regulatory commission, is about 46.7 billion drams excluding VAT. The main part of the expenses – up to 80% – falls on electrical equipment and materials necessary for the modernization of the distribution network.
Currently, goods and materials worth over 12.2 billion drams have already been purchased, with a planned 16.7 billion. Thus, the difference formed savings of more than 4.5 billion drams, which, as noted, will be directed to further updating the country's energy system infrastructure.
