Team Telecom Armenia will provide communication and internet infrastructure for the large-scale Firebird AI project. The data center under construction is already in the final stages of preparation and, once launched, will become the largest artificial intelligence center in the region.
For the complex's operation, the operator will provide a new generation backbone fiber optic network with a capacity of up to 1 Tbit/s and the possibility of further expansion. The company noted that Armenia is already connected to international communication channels in four independent directions, which meets global requirements for the construction of large data centers. Team Telecom Armenia's infrastructure will be a key element connecting the future AI platform with the global digital ecosystem.
In the first phase, the Firebird project will utilize over 6000 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, providing up to 110.6 exaflops of computing power for artificial intelligence tasks. Further multiple expansion of the computing infrastructure is planned. Companies Team Construct, Team Systems, and Team Energy, part of the Team group, are also involved in the construction of the facility.
