Aram Mkhitaryan, head of Yandex Armenia, has been appointed regional director within the Yango Group structure, responsible for business development in Central Asian and Caucasus countries. He will continue to lead the company's Armenian division.

According to him, the new appointment expands his area of responsibility and covers several key markets in the region, including Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The company operates in more than 30 countries, and its headquarters are located in Dubai, reflecting the global format of its management structure.

Mkhitaryan took over Yandex Armenia in 2024, and now his role is expanding to a regional level. Industry experts note that such appointments are still rare for the Armenian technology sector and reflect the growing influence of local management teams within international technology corporations.
