The TRIPP project is currently being implemented exclusively in the Armenia-US format and is at the stage of practical execution, stated Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, commenting on the words of a representative of the Russian foreign policy department about the possible benefits of Moscow's participation.

He noted that the agreement has already been signed and is not subject to revision in the near future. At the same time, the diplomat refused to discuss possible scenarios for expanding the format in the future, emphasizing that "it is premature to talk about prospects now."

Separately, Safaryan pointed out that Armenia remains a member of the EAEU, which means that all transit and customs procedures continue to be regulated by the union's norms. According to him, this automatically applies to TRIPP as well. "The EAEU customs regulation is carried out by our authorities, so there are no problems here," he stated.

Thus, the project will develop in the current bilateral format with the US, but within the general rules of the EAEU economic space, which implies parallel interaction with existing regulators and infrastructure.
