The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia (PSRC) decided to keep natural gas tariffs for household subscribers unchanged. The new parameters will come into force on August 1, 2026.

The agency clarified that within the framework of the planned review, calculations for gas transportation, distribution services, and the operation of the gas supply system operator Gazprom-Armenia CJSC were updated. Both upward and downward factors affecting the final cost were taken into account.

Despite adjustments in the tariff structure, the total amount in utility bills for the population will not change. The PSRC emphasized that the social burden will remain stable.

Earlier, media discussed rumors about a possible revision of prices for Russian gas for Armenia, but officials repeatedly noted that long-term contracts are in effect, precluding sharp changes in cost.
