Armenia ranked higher among South Caucasus countries in the World Bank's expanded Human Capital Index HCI+. According to published data, the republic's score was 224 out of a possible 325 points, which is higher than the results of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Iran.

For comparison, Georgia received 215 points, Azerbaijan – 208 points, and Iran – 180 points. Thus, Armenia is ahead of Georgia by 9 points, Azerbaijan by 16 points, and Iran by 44 points. However, the country's indicator remains below the average level for the Europe and Central Asia region, which is 240 points.

The World Bank attributes Armenia's result to investments in education, healthcare, and labor market development. Experts note significant growth potential: an increase in the index by 10 points due to government reforms can lead to an approximately 10% increase in future incomes of the population. In 2024, Armenia's HCI+ score was estimated at approximately 222 points.
