T-Bank customers can now pay for purchases in Armenia using a QR code through the mobile application. To complete the transaction, simply scan the code near the checkout or on the payment terminal, after which the amount is debited automatically. In most retail outlets that support this payment method, there is no transaction fee.

To use the service, users do not need to open a foreign currency account. The conversion of rubles to Armenian drams is performed at T-Bank's internal exchange rate at the time of payment, and the current rate is displayed directly in the application before confirming the transaction. The maximum amount for a single purchase is limited to the equivalent of 1 million rubles.

The new feature is available to citizens of Russia and other countries that the bank considers friendly. In addition to Armenia, QR code payment through the T-Bank application is already available in Vietnam, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. The company plans to expand the list of countries where the service will be available in the future.
