The four largest mobile and internet communication operators in Armenia transferred 22.21 billion drams to the state budget in the first half of 2026. The data was published by the State Revenue Committee of the republic as part of the list of the 1000 largest taxpayers.

The main volume of payments came from tax authorities – 22.15 billion drams, while customs payments amounted to another 56 million drams. Viva Armenia became the leader among telecom companies, ranking 19th in the overall rating of the country's largest taxpayers. The company transferred 10.41 billion drams.

Ucom came in second, ranking 27th with payments of 5.81 billion drams. Telecom Armenia transferred 4.81 billion drams to the budget and ranked 35th, while GNC-ALFA, operating under the OVIO brand, transferred 1.18 billion drams, placing 157th.

Previously, Viva Armenia announced an agreement to acquire shares of GNC-ALFA. The company received regulatory approval to purchase 100% of the operator's shares, but information on the completion of the deal has not yet been officially published.
