The total capital of Armenia's banking system reached almost 2.23 trillion drams as of the end of June 2026. Over the year, the indicator increased by 13.63%, according to data from the "ARKA" agency's ranking.
Ardshinbank remains the largest bank in Armenia by total capital, with 394.3 billion drams. Over the year, its capital grew by 2.05%, but compared to the first quarter, it decreased by 14.01%.
Ameriabank ranks second with a capital of 358.08 billion drams. The bank showed one of the highest annual growth rates among the leaders — 23.92%, while over the quarter, the indicator remained almost unchanged, decreasing by only 0.04%.
Amio Bank took the third position, with its capital amounting to 203.7 billion drams. Over the year, the indicator increased by 17.01%, and in the second quarter, it decreased by 0.57%.
The growth of the banking sector's capital reflects the further strengthening of Armenia's financial system and the increase in the equity of the largest credit organizations.
