In August 2026, gasoline in Armenia rose in price by 11.7% compared to August last year. Diesel fuel increased by 25% at once, and liquid hydrocarbons, including propane and butane, became 23.6% more expensive. These data are provided by the country's official statistics.

At the same time, the growth continued on a monthly basis. Compared to July, gasoline prices increased by 4.1%, diesel fuel by 9.8%, and liquid hydrocarbons by 9.4%. For comparison, back in July, the annual growth was 7.4% for gasoline and 14.3% for diesel fuel.

Thus, over several months, the cost of fuel in Armenia has significantly accelerated its growth. Diesel is becoming more expensive especially quickly, which can affect not only the costs of motorists, but also the cost of transportation and goods.
