Wizz Air will base a fourth aircraft at Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport. According to the airline's Chief Commercial Officer, Jan Malen, the additional aircraft will allow the immediate launch of three new international routes from the Armenian capital.

Starting December 18, Wizz Air will begin flying from Yerevan to Basel three times a week. Flights to Valencia will launch on December 19. Another new destination will be Varna: flights to the Bulgarian city will operate twice a week starting June 6, 2027.

The base expansion will allow the airline to increase the number of available routes from Armenia and strengthen Yerevan's position as a regional aviation hub. The new flights will connect the Armenian capital with three popular European destinations.
