Unibank has become a member of the Armenian Solar Energy Association, which unites companies in the renewable energy sector. Within the framework of cooperation, the parties will study market needs for financing, develop financial instruments for businesses, and promote investment attraction in green energy projects.

Solar power plants in 2025 provided 16.3% of all electricity generated in Armenia. However, the expansion of solar generation and the introduction of energy-efficient technologies require accessible financing for companies. Unibank already offers businesses the “Green” Leasing program for the acquisition of solar energy systems and other energy-efficient equipment.

According to Emma Harutyunyan, Director of the Program Loans and Business Leasing Department at Unibank, equipment can be leased at a rate starting from 9.5% per annum for a period of up to 60 months. For applications that meet the program's conditions, there is a possibility of interest rate subsidization.
