Tax revenues and state duties to the Armenian budget for January–August 2026 reached 2 trillion 27.1 billion drams. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 257.8 billion drams, or 14.6%, reported the State Revenue Committee of Armenia. Growth was observed in almost all key categories, including VAT, income tax, profit tax, and excise taxes.

The largest volume of revenues was provided by wholesale and retail trade enterprises, mining, construction, and manufacturing industries. At the same time, over eight months, 218.4 billion drams were returned to taxpayers, which is 24.6 billion drams, or 12.7%, more than the result a year earlier. Following inspections and analytical work, an additional 126.7 billion drams were accrued — an increase of 33.1 billion drams, or 35%, compared to January–August 2025.

For the entire year 2025, tax revenues and state duties of the state budget of Armenia amounted to 2.725 trillion drams. The annual figure increased by 14% compared to 2024. At the exchange rate indicated in the source, $1 corresponds to 362.82 drams.
