Belgium strengthens its presence: an embassy opened in Yerevan with an emphasis on business and technology

The new diplomatic center should accelerate cooperation with Armenia in innovation and science

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever announced plans to deepen cooperation with Armenia in the fields of business, innovation and technology. The reason was the opening of the embassy in Yerevan, which, according to him, symbolizes not only historical ties, but also a focus on future cooperation.

According to the head of the Belgian government, the new diplomatic mission will become a platform for developing projects in infrastructure, scientific exchange and high-tech industries. He also emphasized Armenia's role as a partner of stability and a country adhering to democratic values in the region.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that the opening of the embassy will give additional impetus to bilateral relations. According to him, the interaction between the countries already goes beyond historical ties and is gradually turning into a modern partnership aimed at the development of institutions, economy and technology.
