Armenia's foreign trade turnover for January–March 2026 amounted to $4.7 billion, an increase of 4.6% compared to the same period last year. According to Armstat, exports grew by 4.5% and reached $1.76 billion, while imports increased by 4.6%, to $2.94 billion.
Trade with CIS countries showed a decrease of 14% and amounted to $1.47 billion. Russia remains the main partner with a volume of $1.33 billion, but the indicator decreased by 17.2%. At the same time, a noticeable growth was recorded with Belarus (+18.8%) and Ukraine (+23.2%), although their share remains significantly smaller.
At the same time, trade with EU countries sharply increased – by 54.3%, to $763.2 million. Among the leaders are Germany with $136.8 million (+38.1%), Bulgaria with a fourfold increase, and Italy with $97.3 million. Other key partners include China ($701.8 million, +19.6%), Iran ($174.3 million, +6%), USA ($107.7 million, +24.6%). At the same time, trade with UAE sharply decreased – by 63.1%, to $161.5 million.
