Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with a delegation led by Iranian Vice President Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi, where the key topics were the development of border infrastructure and the expansion of economic cooperation.

One of the main issues of the negotiations was the construction of a second bridge across the Armenian-Iranian border, as well as the creation of a new terminal and the modernization of customs procedures. The parties also discussed simplifying logistics and increasing the capacity of border crossings.

A separate block of dialogue was devoted to energy, where Armenia and Iran are considering expanding cooperation within the framework of existing and future projects. In addition, prospects for joint work in road construction, agriculture, mining and other sectors of the economy were discussed.

The parties also touched upon the topic of unblocking regional communications, noting that the opening of new transport routes can significantly affect the development of the entire region. At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged greetings from the leadership of both countries and confirmed their interest in further cooperation.
