The American technology company AMD is showing increasing interest in new formats of cooperation with Armenia. This was stated by the company's Vice President, Dan Gibbons, at a meeting with the Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan. He presented the key activities of AMD and spoke about the progress of current projects that the company is already implementing in the country.
The negotiations touched upon issues of simplifying import and export procedures, access to advanced technological solutions, and expanding academic partnerships. Special attention was paid to the launch of joint educational programs, research initiatives, support for laboratories, and the development of human resources. The parties emphasized the importance of training specialists capable of working with high-performance AMD solutions, including artificial intelligence technologies. Following the meeting, Gibbons and Hayrapetyan agreed on further steps to deepen cooperation.
