New schools are the foundation of change: Pashinyan called them the cornerstone of Armenia's transformation

The Prime Minister stated that it is not only about buildings, but also about a new way of thinking that should be formed in children

Schools being built as part of a new state project are a key element of Armenia's transformation. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a visit to the newly built school in Ayanist. According to him, such facilities cannot be considered as local initiatives — they are of systemic importance for the future of the country.

Pashinyan emphasized that the new schools symbolize not just the renewal of infrastructure, but profound changes in approaches and values. "It's not just about new buildings, but about a new way of thinking. A new school, any new building expresses a change in thinking and the transformation that should be reflected in our children," the Prime Minister noted. He added that new education standards and a teacher certification system are also part of this process.

The head of government emphasized that the new thinking is not a once-and-for-all given form and must constantly evolve. Addressing the schoolchildren, Pashinyan noted that the new schools are an expression of the state's care and love for the younger generation, as well as an investment in the long-term development of Armenia.
