Yerevan hosted a discussion on "Competition and Consumer Rights Protection in the Context of Digital Platform Development in Armenia," organized by Yandex Armenia in collaboration with the Commission for Protection of Competition and Consumer Rights. Participants—representatives from government bodies, the private sector, and market experts—discussed ways to regulate the industry and enhance the transparency of services.

During the discussion, it was emphasized that the implementation of antitrust compliance and other "soft law" instruments helps create a predictable environment for market participants. Yandex Armenia has already implemented measures to increase convenience and transparency for passengers and drivers, including detailed trip costs and service fee limits.

In addition, the launch of a new low-cost service was discussed, which will provide an additional alternative for irregular passenger transportation via digital platforms. The parties noted that joint work within the working group will continue to further improve the industry.
