Yerevan's budget for the first 4 months of 2026 showed a significant over-fulfillment of its own revenues. Instead of the planned 28.5 billion drams, the city actually received 31.6 billion drams. The plan was fulfilled by 111.2%, and the over-fulfillment volume exceeded 3.1 billion drams.

According to David Hakobyan, acting head of the city hall's revenue accounting and collection department, the indicators also significantly increased compared to last year. For January–April, the growth of the capital's own revenues amounted to more than 9.4 billion drams relative to the same period in 2025.

The increase in revenues may indicate a revival of economic activity in the city, an expansion of the tax base, and improved collection of payments. For the city budget, this creates additional opportunities for financing infrastructure and social projects.
