American magazine Forbes has included entrepreneur and investor Noubar Afeyan in its "America’s Greatest Innovators 2026" ranking. He secured the 32nd position, recognized as one of the key figures in the biotechnology industry.

Afeyan is known as the co-founder of Moderna and the venture fund Flagship Pioneering, which participates in the creation of numerous biomedical startups. Moderna was one of the first companies to develop an mRNA vaccine against COVID-19, bringing it global recognition.

Forbes notes that Afeyan has made significant contributions to the development of the US innovation ecosystem by investing in advanced scientific research in biotechnology, healthcare, and artificial intelligence. His involvement in humanitarian and educational projects, including the Aurora initiative and science development programs in Armenia, is also highlighted.
