Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry and AI Davit Tadevosyan and Krisp co-founder Artavazd Minasyan discussed expanding the presence of Armenian technology companies in international markets. The meeting took place on October 2, and key topics included the development of artificial intelligence and high technologies, international expansion of startups, specialist training, and attracting investments.

The parties paid special attention to promoting technologies, knowledge, and professional competencies developed in Armenia abroad. Closer interaction between the state, business, and the scientific and educational sectors was also discussed. The interlocutors touched upon the activities of the venture fund BigStory VC, established with the participation of Krisp co-founders Davit Baghdasaryan and Artavazd Minasyan, as well as Podcastle AI founder Arto Yeritsyan. The fund focuses on investing in startups of Armenian origin.

Minasyan also presented the latest developments from Krisp, which celebrated its ninth anniversary. According to him, over the past year, the company has continued to develop voice AI technologies, and models created in Armenia are used by major players in the AI industry. In addition, Krisp is developing a voice translation system that supports 62 languages and is working on new solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
