The World Bank has improved its expectations for Armenia's economic growth over the next three years. According to the October Europe & Central Asia Economic Update report, the country's GDP will increase by 5.6% in 2026, 5.3% in 2027, and 5.1% in 2028.

In the previous forecast, published in June 2026 in the Global Economic Prospects report, the organization expected slower growth. At that time, the estimate for 2026 was 5.3%, for 2027 – 5.1%, and for 2028 – 5%.

Thus, the World Bank raised its forecast for 2026 by 0.3 percentage points, for 2027 by 0.2 points, and for 2028 by 0.1 points. The revision reflects an improvement in the outlook for the Armenian economy compared to June's expectations.
