Armenian operator Viva has expanded its 5G+ network to Syunik Province and Vayots Dzor. Now, the new generation communication is available in Yerevan and 32 cities across the country, with coverage reaching approximately 80% of Armenia's populated areas. Among the new connection points are Goris, Kapan, Kajaran, Sisian, Jermuk, Vayk, and Yeghegnadzor.

During network testing in Goris, data download speeds reached 522 Mbps, and upload speeds reached 91.24 Mbps. These figures demonstrate the technology's capabilities for high-speed mobile access, although actual speeds may depend on connection conditions and network load.

According to the company, 5G+ creates additional opportunities for the development of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, cloud services, and industrial automation. The expansion of coverage should make modern telecommunication solutions more accessible not only in the capital but also in the regions of Armenia.
