The quota for duty-free import of electric vehicles into Armenia for individuals is almost exhausted. According to the State Revenue Committee (SRC), as of the end of October 9, only 23 out of the planned 16,500 spots remained. Thus, 99.86% of the limit has been used.

Already on October 10, customs declarations for at least 23 vehicles were registered for the remaining spots. This means that the quota for individuals may have been fully utilized.

The situation for distributors and dealers is currently different: as of the end of October 9, they had 862 spots remaining, with about 75% of the allocated quota used. Further opportunities for duty-free electric vehicle imports will depend on available limits and current regulations.
