Armenia's IT sector has significantly accelerated its growth: from January to June 2026, its turnover reached 341.1 billion drams, or approximately $911 million. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 14.3%.

Software development traditionally accounted for the main part of the revenue – it made up about 319 billion drams, which is more than 90% of the industry's total turnover. Other areas of the IT industry provided a significantly smaller share.

The dynamics show that IT remains one of the fastest-growing segments of the Armenian economy. If current rates are maintained, the industry's annual turnover could significantly exceed last year's figures.
