The TRIPP project ("Trump's Route for International Peace and Prosperity") will allow Armenia to finally emerge from the transport blockade, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to him, the infrastructure will pass through the territory of Armenia with full preservation of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction. The route should provide transport links between the main part of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, as well as open additional routes between Central Asia, the Caspian region, and Europe.

Pashinyan noted that the blockade has already been partially overcome. Since November 2025, a railway route for cargo transportation between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been operating through Georgia, and in May 2026, the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway opened for Armenian exports and imports.

In June, Armenia and the United States signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation for TRIPP. A joint Armenian-American company, TRIPP Development Company, has been established to implement the project.
