An artificial intelligence-powered video surveillance system has been launched in the Paruyr Sevak community of Armenia's Ararat Province, designed to protect the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR). The camera continuously analyzes the situation in the area and helps detect smoke, potential fire sources, poaching, and illegal intrusion.

Telecommunications company Ucom provided technical support for the project. It ensured stable connectivity, real-time data transmission, and server infrastructure for data storage.

Ucom CEO Ralf Yirikian noted that modern technologies are becoming not just a part of infrastructure, but also an effective tool for environmental protection.
