Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan suggested integrating transport projects of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the TRIPP initiative and opening regional communications. He stated this at a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, who arrived in the republic on his first official visit.

According to Pashinyan, both countries are implementing projects aimed at forming new trade routes. He expressed the opinion that after the promotion of TRIPP and taking into account regional changes, transport communications could open in the foreseeable future. The Prime Minister emphasized that the development of Kyrgyzstan's transport infrastructure is of interest to Armenia and creates a basis for discussing further cooperation.

During the negotiations, the parties considered prospects for cooperation in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres, paying special attention to strengthening trade and economic ties. Pashinyan and Japarov also exchanged views on the regional situation, establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, unblocking communications, and developing transport connectivity.
