The Armenian company Profal intends to invest an additional $10 million over the next two years to expand its glass processing production. The project envisages the creation of another 100 jobs and an increase in foreign supplies. This was announced by the Armenian government after Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the new enterprise in the industrial zone of Nairi community.

Previously, about $20 million was invested in the construction of the plant and the purchase of modern equipment. After the launch of the enterprise, 75 jobs were created, and upon completion of the next expansion phase, the company's staff should exceed 600 employees. Currently, about 80% of the products are sold in Armenia, the remaining 20% are exported, including to the USA, Canada, France, Great Britain, and Saudi Arabia. New capacities should help increase the share of foreign sales.

The project is being implemented using state support mechanisms. Within the framework of seven leasing agreements for equipment acquisition, the state subsidized interest rates totaling about 227 million drams. PROFAL has been operating in the Armenian market for approximately 25 years and produces aluminum doors, windows, facade systems, and also engages in glass processing.
