In 2025, Armenia was visited by more than 2.26 million foreign tourists. This figure is 2.5% higher than the result of 2024, when the country was visited by 2.21 million people. However, it was not yet possible to update the historical maximum: it was 2.8% short of the record 2023 with its 2.33 million tourists.
The structure of the tourist flow remains largely the same - neighboring and regional markets continue to play a key role. Russia remains the absolute leader, accounting for 41% of all visits. In numerical terms, this is about 922 thousand tourists, which significantly exceeds the figures of other countries.
Georgia is in second place in terms of the number of arrivals with a share of 13% and 288 thousand tourists, followed by Iran - 8% and 182 thousand people. The top five largest markets also included the United States, from where about 61 thousand tourists arrived in Armenia, and China with 44 thousand visits.
