The Central Bank of Armenia has changed the rules for working with e-wallets, making their opening and top-up more accessible to users.

Now, opening an e-wallet will not require a bank account or payment card. In addition, it will be possible to top up the wallet and withdraw funds not only by cashless means, but also with cash.

Thus, e-wallets in Armenia are becoming a more independent payment instrument: users no longer need to have a bank card or account to open and use them.
